Course Curriculum

Post University’s Bachelor of Science in Gaming and Esports Management is a 120-credit program designed to integrate business management principles with the dynamic gaming and esports industry. The program requires 60 credits of general education, including courses in college writing, literature, communication, digital skills, history, social sciences, arts, business ethics, mathematics, and sciences, providing students with a strong liberal arts foundation. Core business courses, totaling 18 credits, cover accounting, quality standards, macroeconomics, finance, management, and marketing, equipping students with essential business knowledge. The major core, totaling 24 credits, includes specialized courses such as history of gaming, introduction to game design and development, esports management, psychology of gaming, ethics in gaming, selling within the gaming industry, new media and streaming, gaming project management or economics of gaming, and an electronic gaming internship or project, along with a business policy seminar, offering practical and industry-specific skills. Students also complete a concentration of 9 credits, advanced Excel training, and 6 credits in the College to Career core to enhance professional readiness. This program prepares graduates for entry-level and emerging careers in game development, esports organizations, streaming platforms, and related business sectors, while also providing a pathway to graduate studies. By combining technical gaming expertise with comprehensive business and management skills, students are equipped to navigate and succeed in the global gaming and esports industry.
