Course Curriculum

The Master of Science in Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics (TIL) at TU Delft equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to design, manage, and optimize transport systems, infrastructure networks, and complex supply chains. Graduates gain up-to-date insights into transport policy-making, spatial planning, and the operation and control of modern transportation networks, allowing them to make well-informed decisions for clients, employers, and society.The programme emphasizes hands-on, interdisciplinary learning. Students work on real-world cases in collaborative projects with diverse peers, developing practical solutions for challenges in transport and logistics. They acquire the ability to efficiently operate and manage transport networks while considering technical, economic, and societal factors. By combining engineering, management, and policy perspectives, TIL graduates are prepared to address complex decision-making processes inherent in infrastructure planning, system design, and logistics optimization.TIL students can also tailor their studies by choosing one of four specializations: Transport Governance, Traffic Operations, Transport Networks, or Logistics Systems. This allows graduates to focus on their particular area of interest while building a strong foundation in the broader transport and logistics field. Courses are offered across multiple TU Delft faculties, providing a multidisciplinary perspective and exposure to cutting-edge research and practice.In essence, the MSc in Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics develops professionals capable of designing cost-effective, efficient, and sustainable transportation and logistics systems. Graduates emerge as versatile experts who can contribute to the development, operation, and management of transport networks and supply chains, making meaningful impacts on mobility, trade, and societal well-being.
