Course Curriculum

The program begins at the 100 level with foundational courses in business, economics, and mathematics. Students explore the fundamentals of Canadian business, microeconomics, macroeconomics, and Indigenous studies. Math requirements include options such as finite math, linear algebra, and calculus, tailored to business applications. At the 200 level, students build core business competencies through courses in communication, financial and managerial accounting, finance, marketing, organizational behaviour, and management science. They also gain practical skills in business computing and statistical analysis. In the upper-division (300 and 400 level), the focus shifts to advanced topics like business law, financial management, human resources, ethics, marketing strategy, operations, information systems, and strategic management—providing students with the knowledge and tools to understand and lead in complex business environments.
