Course Curriculum

Animation provides an immersive, hands-on learning experience across multiple specialized streams, equipping students with the technical and creative skills required for the modern animation industry. In the first year, all students develop foundational skills in design, film language, animation fundamentals, structural drawing, life drawing, and industry success practices, establishing a solid base for further specialization. In the second and third years, students choose a stream—2D Animation, Digital Animation, Gaming, or Visual Development—allowing for focused study in areas such as character and prop design, storyboarding, digital painting, 3D modeling, rigging, lighting, game engines, and environment and location design, while continuing to develop life drawing and animation across genres skills. The curriculum emphasizes cross-disciplinary collaboration, with projects and production weeklies enabling students to apply their learning in professional-style, team-based settings. Throughout the program, students gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools, practice applying animation principles, composition, and storytelling, and produce work for demo reels and online portfolios. By integrating theory, practice, and cross-stream collaboration, the program ensures graduates leave with a comprehensive understanding of both traditional and digital animation processes, strong artistic and technical abilities, and the professional experience needed to succeed in film, television, games, and digital media.
