Course Curriculum

To graduate from the Bachelor of Engineering Technology at UniSQ, students must successfully complete 24 units of study, consisting of core courses, an engineering major, and selective units. The 7-unit core provides foundational knowledge in engineering principles, problem-solving, project management, and professional practice. The 13-unit engineering major allows students to specialise in a specific area of technology, developing practical skills and industry-relevant expertise. Additionally, 4 units of selective courses give students flexibility to explore complementary topics or emerging technologies, enhancing their adaptability and innovation capabilities. The degree emphasizes project-based learning, industry engagement, and the application of engineering solutions in alignment with the United Nations’ sustainable development goals, ensuring graduates are equipped for diverse careers as engineering technologists and ready to address contemporary engineering challenges.
