The major unit Screen Studies: Movies, Television and Ourselves (MDA10003) explores screen culture and audience engagement, complemented by an elective unit to broaden learning. Semester 2 features core units Communicating with Data (MDA10012) and Content Creator Lab (MDA10018), which develop data literacy and practical media production skills. The major unit Genre and the Moving Image (FTV10006) examines storytelling conventions and visual culture, alongside an elective.In the second year, Semester 1 includes The Australian Screen (FTV20005) as a major unit, focusing on national screen culture, alongside two electives.
