Clinical Studies units build understanding of body systems and disease processes, including Clinical Studies in Naturopathic Medicine 1 (NATM2002), focusing on assessment, microbiology, and immunity, and subsequent units addressing the integumentary and gastrointestinal systems (NATM3001), musculoskeletal and nervous systems (NATM3002), and cardiovascular and respiratory systems (NATM3003). Practice-Based Health Research (HLTH5009) develops skills in evidence-based practice, while Professional Contexts in Naturopathic Medicine 1 and 2 (NATM5010) provide foundational understanding of professional conduct and clinical ethics. In the second year, students progress to advanced clinical training, including Clinical Studies in Naturopathic Medicine 5 to 7 (NATM3004, NATM5008, NATM5009), which cover the urogenital and endocrine systems, cancer and haematological systems, and multi-morbidity and complex cases.
