Course Curriculum

The Master's in Applied Finance and Financial Management is structured to provide students with a solid foundation in core financial principles, while also allowing for specialization through elective choices. The program requires the completion of 12 units in total, comprising 10 core units and 2 elective units, each worth 20 credit points, amounting to 240 credit points overall. The core units cover a wide range of essential topics that prepare students for the demands of the financial services industry. These include Business Finance, Quantitative Skills for Business, Accounting Concepts and Applications, and Economic Analysis for Business, which collectively build a strong analytical and theoretical base. Additional core units such as Financial Markets and Institutions, Credit and Lending Decisions, Risk Management in Banking, and Financial Analysis and Modelling delve deeper into applied financial practices. The program also includes units in Investment Management and International Finance, equipping students with a global perspective and investment-specific expertise.To complement the core curriculum, students are required to select two elective units that align with their career goals or areas of interest.
