Course Curriculum

The Bachelor of Business includes a structured set of core units designed to give students a solid foundation across all key areas of business. In the first semester, students begin with Organisations in a Business Context, which introduces them to how businesses operate, along with Introduction to Accounting and Information Technology Systems in Business, ensuring they understand both financial fundamentals and the role of technology in modern business. In the second semester, they continue building their knowledge through Introduction to Economics, Business Statistics, and Business Law, gaining insight into economic principles, quantitative analysis, and the legal frameworks that underpin business activity.As students progress, they move into more advanced topics such as Business Finance, which provides essential skills in financial decision-making and investment, and Strategic Responses in Business, a capstone-style unit that brings together prior learning to focus on how businesses can adapt and thrive in dynamic environments. Together, these eight core units equip students with a comprehensive understanding of organizational structures, financial and economic systems, legal obligations, data-driven decision-making, and long-term strategic planning.This structured curriculum ensures that all graduates, regardless of their chosen major, have the fundamental competencies required to succeed in professional business environments.
