Graduates in biotechnology are expected to apply their knowledge and skills to address novel and emerging problems in the field. This involves integrating foundational concepts in molecular biology, genetics, and biochemistry with innovative biotechnological applications to devise solutions for challenges in healthcare, agriculture, environmental management, and industry. A key competency is the ability to interpret, synthesize, and critically analyse scientific literature.
