Course Curriculum

The Bachelor of Laws at ACU provides students with a comprehensive legal education, combining foundational knowledge, practical skills, and professional experience to prepare graduates for a wide range of legal careers. The program begins with first-year units that establish core legal principles, including foundations of law, contract law, criminal law, public law, and commercial law, alongside general electives and core curriculum components to support a broad academic base. In the second year, students progress to intermediate subjects such as torts, property, statutory interpretation, business organisations, land law, civil procedure, and alternative dispute resolution, while engaging in pro bono legal experiences to apply their learning in real-world contexts.
