In the first year, students begin by building foundational skills in 3D character creation, game design mechanics, level design, game scripting, animation, and rigging. They learn the entire 3D production pipeline, including modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering, while also developing essential professional skills such as project management, collaboration, and communication. Game theory, mechanics, and scripting are introduced through practical tasks, encouraging critical thinking and technical understanding. Students also explore the basics of animation and rigging, gaining the ability to bring characters and environments to life. In the second year, the focus shifts to exploration and specialization. Subjects such as sound design, 3D asset development, and console game development allow students to deepen their practical skills, especially in scripting, asset optimization, and audio production. They work on real-time asset integration, multiplayer development, and technical art, building experience with advanced effects and collaborative systems. Cultural theory is also introduced to broaden their creative perspectives and sharpen critical analysis skills. By the third year, students are ready to launch their careers. The curriculum includes professional freelancing, where students learn about the business side of game design, including contracts, budgeting, pitching, and marketing. Emerging technologies and industry trends are also explored, preparing students for future developments in media and games. Through practical projects, ongoing feedback, and portfolio development, students enhance their readiness for industry roles or independent creative work. By the end of the program, graduates will have a robust portfolio, a clear understanding of industry workflows, and the technical and professional capabilities needed to succeed in today’s competitive game design landscape. The degree emphasizes hands-on experience, creativity, and adaptability, ensuring students are equipped to contribute meaningfully to both existing studios and innovative game development ventures.
